Meditation Training at Love & Compassion 瞑想

Meditation is a powerful and indispensable tool for purification of the mind, followed by cultivating inner calmness, peace, self-realization and compassion.  

Meditation is an invaluable tool that has fostered meaning to life for centuries.  By learning proper techniques for quieting the mind, one can effectively experience entering into a relaxed state and purifying the mind at the first stage. As a result, your sleep, concentration, work performance, emotional stability and relationship with your surroundings are inevitably transformed.  

Whether you can become a regular meditator or gain benefits out of one’s practice depends on how you learn and how you continue your practice. In a world where stimulation is high and time is scarce, the key to developing and sustaining a new habit, has more to do with how. It is our belief that learning effective techniques with a fully trained staff and Master, is critical for establishing a daily practice. While meditation classes have become widely available through free phone apps and drop-in classes at local centers, meditation training should be given in person from a teacher to a student, in solid trust and support. Meditation practice is the beginning of self-transformation and therefore it is crucial to have an experienced master teacher who has wisdom and knowledge of the practice and beyond. 

With continued practice, finding out how to make meditation joyful, you can enter a higher stage in meditation training, where you cultivate your consciousness, self-realization, attain peace, humility, love and compassion for yourself and others.

Since it's inception in 2007, Love & Compassion Healing Center/Soul Oasis continues to hold a traditional approach to building a practice under distinguished lineages. Master Teacher Mika Ichihara was trained under direct guidance and traditional training by Taoist Master teacher Zhi Gang Sha and Tibetan Buddhist teachers Khenchen Palden Sherab Rinpoche and Khenpo Tsewang Dongyal Rinpoche in the Nyingma tradition. She is inspired by Yogic teachings of the Himalayan, late Yogi Master Swami Rama. 

Mika’s knowledge, skills and fully trained staff make Soul Oasis unlike other centers. The aim at Soul Oasis is to help you learn how to transform your own life. LEVEL 1: INNER AWAKENING: Beginners' Meditation Workshop

A one-day beginners’ workshop, for all, whether a beginner or longtime student of meditation, this workshop serves as an opportunity to learn the essential skills to stop inner chatter, activate a sustainable daily practice, and energize yourself. Many meditation and wellness centers offer meditation but rarely do they teach you how.  Level 1 will teach you how to transform your life, reduce stress and improve sleep. We will demystify how to truly ground yourself, deepen your practice or simply gain the skills to stop the internal commentary. You don’t have to fall apart in order to come together.  Join us, Level 1 starts this September!!!

LEVEL 2: INNER CULTIVATION: Loving and Kindness Workshop

The second level training seeks to deepen inner awareness and consciousness. After having learned the techniques to calm your mind in level 1, you are now ready to proceed into deeper meditation. Level 2 offers you the skills necessary to transform negative emotions into happiness, and create a deeper connection with your true self. If you understand the nature of yourself, you can understand others. Compassion and humility are cultivated, while patience and deeper connections follow upon taking level 2. Join us to improve your relationship with self and others! Couples welcome!

LEVEL3: INNER QUEST Deepening Your Practice

The third level of training focuses on learning additional core skills to meditate on a deeper level. You will learn to increase light in your life, develop intuitive skills, receive universal wisdom and receive guidance from the Universal Source.

Prerequisite: LC Meditation levels 1-2 and Universal Qabalah Foundation Level 1

Weekly Dropin Classes

Level 1 - 2 Meditation

Ongoing weekly meditation classes for students to aid in developing your meditation practice and improve skills in a safe and supportive environment. By the end of each class, you’ll feel purified and rejuvenated. You will have more energy, experience positive thoughts and a change in attitude.

Note: This class is not suitable for beginners. Please take Level 1: Beginners Meditation before joining this group.

 

Healing Meditation (Open Level)

Healing is a journey of empowerment. It begins with your dedicated intention to heal and awaken your own self-healing abilities. This class will teach you techniques that help you accelerate healing. This class is open to all levels of meditation, including beginners.

 

Compassion Meditation (Open Level)
