Energetics of Food

Energetics of Food Seminars

The body is the temple of your soul. A healthy mind resides in a healthy body. A conscious diet serves as the foundation for healing and sustainable health.

Western nutrition measures food by its nutritional components — glucose, protein, fat, vitamins, and minerals. While this information is useful, it captures only part of the picture. It does not account for the unique energetics that each food carries, nor does it recognize that nutrition is deeply personal. The same food affects each person differently, depending on their individual energetic makeup.

From the Eastern perspective, food is far more than nutrients. Every food carries its own energetic qualities: its Yin or Yang nature, its temperature, the relevance to the organ it nourishes, and the energetic patterns it supports or disrupts. Just as importantly, every person carries their own energetic type. True nourishment comes from understanding your own type and choosing foods that bring your energy into balance.

Understanding the energetics of food will transform your relationship with what you eat — moving from unconscious habit, often emotional response, to conscious, intentional choice. Students who complete this seminar will become more connected to food with gratitude, approaching it with respect and selecting wisely and sensibly for their own health and healing.

Why This Seminar is Unique

There is very little training available on food energetics in the Western world. The most widely known comparable approach is Macrobiotics, developed by Michio Kushi — a Japanese dietary system focused primarily on grains and vegetables.

Master Mika's teaching enhances your understanding and relationship with food. It is rooted in Taoism — a broader and more comprehensive framework that encompasses the full spectrum of food energetics. Drawing from over 25 years of clinical experience applying these principles in practice, Master Mika brings a depth of knowledge that goes far beyond theory. Her teaching is informed by what she has witnessed in hundreds of thousands of patient interactions — how food affects the body, the mind, and the energy of each unique individual.

This is knowledge that has existed in Eastern medicine for thousands of years, yet remains largely inaccessible to Western society. Master Mika's seminar brings this wisdom into a clear, practical, and deeply personalized framework — one that empowers you to make food choices that truly serve your healing.

The Green Path

Energetics of Food belongs to the Green Path within Master Mika's teaching framework — the path of connecting to nature and the energy of the Earth.

Food is one of the most direct expressions of nature's gifts. When we eat consciously and with intention, we are not simply fueling the body — we are receiving the energy of Mother Earth with gratitude and respect. Consuming food is one of the direct actions to benefit the gift of Mother Earth.

This seminar invites you to shift from viewing eating not only as an act of physical need, but also as a sacred and intentional act of receiving.
