Join Master Mika for Upcoming Meditation Seminar Level 1

In my previous article, I discussed the importance of getting in touch with ourselves and looking inward, rather than always searching for answers in external sources of information, such as the internet.

You may wonder why I am returning to this topic, and why getting in touch with ourselves is so important.

Turning our attention inward means allowing ourselves to step back from what is happening around us and direct our attention to our inner experience.

This is not about escaping from everyday life, daydreaming, or forgetting our responsibilities.

Rather, it offers us an opportunity to live in greater alignment with who we are and to experience life more meaningfully.

Let me share my experience. As a former pharmacist, human rights researcher, and United Nations official, I was accustomed to approaching the world primarily through the thinking mind.

When I discovered a realm of experience beyond ordinary conscious awareness, it opened up new possibilities for me to perceive and understand life through deeper insight and awareness.

Why Inner Connection Matters

But why is this so important?

We spend much of our lives thinking, analyzing, and responding to what happens around us.

We may become so accustomed to this way of experiencing life that we rarely consider whether there is another way to experience ourselves.

Life is not only about what we think and do for ourselves and others.

It is also about how we experience ourselves as a whole—our body, our mind, our emotions, our soul, and beyond.

This deeper experience of ourselves may be unfamiliar to many of us, yet it can be a missing piece in our approach to healing, wellness, and longevity.

When we turn our attention inward, we have an opportunity to explore this experience and become aware of ourselves beyond the usual activity of the thinking mind.

Creating Space Within

In our modern lifestyle, we may rarely spend time turning our attention inward unless we intentionally make space for it.

We need to create an environment that allows us to do so.

One way to cultivate this inner connection is through “silent meditation”.

By allowing the mind to become quiet, we can create a safe and quiet space within, where we can begin to reconnect with ourselves.

Silent meditation is a practice that can be learned.

I have taught students from diverse cultural, social, and personal backgrounds for the past 20 years.

Through ongoing practice, meditation can support our health and help us cultivate inner peace.

At the end of this month, I will be offering Meditation Seminar Level 1.

This seminar is suitable for those who would like to learn how to turn their attention inward through silent meditation and practice together.

Whether you are new to meditation or already practice a form of meditation, such as guided meditation, but would like to develop your skills in silent meditation, I would love to invite you to join me.

Meditation Seminar Level 1 with Master Mika

In this seminar, we will take time to step away from the usual activity of everyday life and practice connecting with ourselves within.

You will have the opportunity to learn how to quiet the mind and gradually become more familiar with the quiet space within.

During this small-group seminar, we will explore and practice:

  • Four techniques for quieting the mind
  • Fundamental skills for practicing silent meditation
  • Ways to cultivate a safe and quiet space within
  • How to establish a regular meditation practice

This is an interactive, one-day training in a small-group setting.

You will have the opportunity to ask questions, practice together, and receive my personal guidance throughout the seminar.

By the end of the seminar, you will have the foundation you need to begin your own meditation practice.
